Its totally down to the girl. If she uses them i use them. If she doesnt i dont. I she uses proper english. i use proper english. If she talks slang text chat. I STILL USE PROPER ENGLISH. lol

It depends on who you're talking to man. But I think anything extra can enhance you're ability to communicate so long as it is being used the proper way. I've had loads of sex with emojis and I've also crashed and burned because of them. I tend to just do what I feel with girls. If I want to use emojis i'll use them because I want to use them. If I don't I won't. If they don't like it, thats there business. I can only worry about being me and doing what comes natural to me.

When you understand how frequently new women can come into your life that are better than the old ones you don't really worry about shit like this. Whoever doesn't like it will just lose out.

Ever approach a girl and then she reject you - but stares at you the entire night when she sees how much you didn't give a fuck? Its the same concept. Lead, don't try and please the women. Just be you and they will try and please you.

Personally, I do not like to use emoticons. I find them to be gay as fuck.

That being said, there is one notable exception... When using online communication, it is theorized that there is such a thing as a "negativity bias", i.e., messages will tend to be interpreted as their worst if there is no emoticons attached to them to convey what you really meanr. So esentially, using emoticons when you are touching "risky" subjects (like puns) to convey that you are joking or whatever is probably a good idea.
