Not to derail but, what people get wrong with MM is they take what Mystery himself gave as his personal routines, ignore that it states use stuff that is kinda believable or grounded with your identity and they also miss the context of what's taught. What makes MM good for most beginners is that it's conservative and can work for attractive or unattractive guys to get some experience. In fact, most of the "bizarre" things are done in a joking manner.
Palm Reading - is an isolation excuse and a way to touch girls palms slowly and seductively. You acknowledge it's bs.
Body rocking - is just acting like you're about to leave to make girls comfortable. If you think about it, we all body rock naturally when talking to ppl and about to leave or we're distracted.
Neg openers - Only neg opener I've heard in MM is do you know why you suck. Which is a solid humorous direct opener.
Long winded DHV's - just stories which are humorous. Those are some extreme examples. Most DHV's stories have a few bits about your lifestyle sprinkled in and end with a punch line.
6 hour vs 7 hour thing - Never stated in MM, not to fuck a willing girl if it's before 7 hours. Just that if you don't want the girl to get buyers remorse later, take your time and build a solid connection first.
I'm not even a big MM fan, just dislike seeing misconceptions about it that can't be found anywhere in it. Mystery was a super tall magician in LA who wanted a certain type of woman. The routines he gave were his examples and not to be used in most other situations. It's like peacocking. The guy said wear one interesting article such as a chain or watch or whatever. He wore a top hat and boa. Somehow peacocking is "wear a top hat and boa." Negs went from simple teases like "how do you roll with this girl" to "you're a dumb slut" so negs are bad now. It states "most of the game is played in comfort" but when guys spend the entire time joking and negging a girl, it's because MM says so. 99% of what people say is wrong with MM are not even in MM.
