Howdy gents,

Last night I got pretty messed up, bud and booze gets me turnt. Anyways, when I do these two together I kind of just chill in my head haha.

So I couldn't drive, so I called a girl up I used to have a thing with. I woke her up, btw this was at about 1:30 - 2 in the morning, and asked her if she could give me and a roomie a ride. She agreed though she was sick, and was there quicker then a taxi. She was also kind of dressed up for it being so late and her just waking up. I didn't really talk on the drive, about 10 minutes, but it wasn't an awkward silence.

After dropping us off she texted me saying she was happy I called her instead of driving. I said thank you and told her I owe her one, and she said It's what friends are for. I didn't really reply to that but said nobody needs a dui. Gnight texts after that.

Anyways, I've had feelings for this chick, not oneitis I'd say but felt chemistry when we were together. Was wondering what you guys think about this and what you would do in this position. I'm thinking MAYBE texting her tomorrow or in a few days and just chit chatting. Only problem with this is every other time I have texted her she has been cold. (Replies within a couple minutes but short replies)

Just be aware that if you are making a post about a girl on the internet you are already in stage one of oneitis. You may not have full blown fever yet, but you are definitely getting the sniffles.

You was there for you when you needed her, anyone will become to development a mild attachment to someone like that.

I would recommend you call her and stop texting. If you do the same thing over and over and get a the same result switch it up. Call her tonight and thank her once again for what she did and let her know that you would like to see her again.

Admittedly I believe I had, and still have some form of oneitis towards this girl. It's not "I need her, I want her, I love her." I can comfortably say this because I am seeing another girl who I like quite well so it's more or less 'the one that got away' syndrome.

When I had met her I was seeing a couple girls, was a very grounded individual and I want that back. I've been contemplating just freezing her out, she's cool but if it fucks with my head it's not worth my time.
