Hi,

I read and learn a lot in here but some posts of different people keep saying that the MM for some reason doesn't work anymore... why is it?
And if so-what is the Pick-up technique/technology that is most recommended?

Find what works for your personality. The way I view Mystery Method is "bad game is better than no game". So whilst peacocking and fake DHV stories are quite dated, they are better than having crippling AA and being unable to start a conversation.

I would recommend starting with 60yoc who has a comprehensive e-book split into 4 parts. My personal favourite YouTube guy is RSD Julien, he has the same fucked up way of thinking as me and is also very good at reading situations and the female psyche. If you want more self development and confidence stuff then try RSD Tyler. If you are more of a pessimistic type with a cynical sense of humour, watch RSD Jeffy.

And for the love of God, make sure you NEVER take advice from Kezia Noble or any other female pickup "gurus".

Pickup is like any other product, it depends on what you want from it. For eg, if you ask for a shirt recommendation, it depends on where you're going to wear it. If you ask for a stereo speaker recommendation, it depends on whether you're playing it in the car, your apartment, a party or somewhere else. I could recommend the expensive set up but it won't make sense if you want something for a 1 bedroom dorm room. So, what do you want to do? Do you want one night stands from the nightclub? Do you want to be able to hold conversations with groups of people? Do you want to be the smooth guy who picks up women on the street and goes on dates?

It's not that it doesn't work anymore.

It's just an older body of knowledge. Since it's days of popularity, other more effective models of attraction and seduction have been "discovered."

Back in the day when no one really had any step-by-step method of going about this sort of thing, MM was a godsend. But now it's kinda at the bottom of the pile.

Why would you use a typewriter to send a letter when you can just send an email?

the core values of mystery method are timeless,

like how he always relates us back to when we were cavemen

both and both and both... I want to be able to attraced any girl that I want.
and yes I want and need to learn how to hold an emotional conversation with groups and to talk random women on the street, and make through the date successfully.
bottom line is that I want to practice and have skills so that one day when I meet a woman for life - it will be piece of cake (And on the way picking great women to the bed)

Chief - can you giving details about the most popular methods? It's kind of depressing for me to hear that I'm learning "the bottom of the pile" haha.. :?

Thank for your replys

Man I have A LOT to tell you about. I've been doing pickup for over 10 years now and I've seen all the trends come and go. Therefore I also know what stuff actually works and what's bullshit. MM kinda sorta worked in some weird ways but it's HIGHLY ineffective. Here's some better shit:

One poster in this thread already recommended 60 YOC. I also highly recommend it if you want to learn the brass basics of sexualization. Read my review first: 60-years-of-challenge-vt74099.html

It was considered revolutionary by many people when it first came out because of how different it was to common dogma that MM created.

Something that might be considered similar is Richard La Ruina's material. Again, check out my review first: stealth-attraction-in-depth-review-vt159431.html

However, both of those things might seems a little too "advanced" for someone starting off, especially if you don't have the basics of attraction down. In fact, it might not be worth spending all that money for you right now.

Through all of my experience learning and teaching pickup/seduction, I've noticed that a lot of guys STILL don't get this whole "attraction" thing. They all get SOS (Shiny Object Syndrome) and follow all these different gurus trying to sell you "one weird trick" and other shit like that.

So one day I wrote down a list of the BASIC attraction techniques and principles that work the best. I made a list of 7 attraction tools, wrote how to use them, and stuffed them all into this cheap and comprehensive guide called Attraction Arsenal:
my-new-ebook-attraction-arsenal-vt182696.html

As you can tell from the reviews, this is THE guide of basics you need to get down for attraction. After you learn that stuff, everything becomes so much easier.

I've also recently written a FREE guide on first dates that actually discusses a few of these basics if you want to spend no money and still get some help. Check my signature for that.
