I met this girl at a Halloween party Friday night. There was a make out session; however, near the end of the night, her "friend zoned" guy was so wasted that she had to take him home. I went for the number, but got a "hit me on meetup" reply. I'm not stressing about this situation, she was ok, but not at the hotness that would make me stay up or anything. I'm going to copy and paste the text that I sent and the one she sent back. I'm just looking for feedback, so I know how to handle this situation next time and if I were to respond to her "I had fun, but" text, what would you reply with to get this woman to reengage? I appreciate any helpful ideas guys.

Next time get the # or scrap the whole thing. Had you classily pushed for the # she MAY have been more willing to chill because you had displayed the masculine quality of persistence.

Be sensible about it; don't just keep plowing and plowing but you can counter her objections a couple of times in a cool way and quite often they will say, "yeah ok, it's..." and give the #. Often when this happens, crazy IOIs occur on the girl's part, likely because of the aforementioned male persistence thing.

The guys who back off immediately at a girl's number refusal are part of a screening process the woman may not even realize she is using.

The instant you took the "meetup site" details, it was off in her mind, although of course maybe she wasn't interested to begin with. In any case there is no point to get anything but the #.
