So I tend to get lazy and not text girls and have little communication with them, and if I do its only for a meet up aka for sex. So some stop replying and are more distant. Why is that? How often should I keep in contact with a girl to maintain a relationship. I usually never text unless there's a purpose. Otherwise I'd be talking to girls all day and that's a waste of time lol.

For girls you're already dating, or have been out with and are still on the hook - totally fine to use text this way, I think (you don't want to run out of shit to talk about when you're actually out with them)...

I actually like to reply really late to texts (like 2 or 3 am if I'm still up).

It may actually accomplish nothing, but I sort of like to think the girl may believe I'm out late partying and having fun without her.
