What's your opinion on this? I've had it happen once or twice where two girls would come up to me and a friend and asked if we were gay. On a night out usually i'd play a passive role and not give much attention to women early in the night. This pretty much ends up with women coming over for a chat, swarming us for attention. My friend generally wouldn't speak much leaving me to do all the talking and keeping both/whole groups involved and interested.

I'm wondering if these women genuinely think we're gay or they're using it as an opener. That or they're frustrated they're not getting the attention they usually do and demand to know why they're not being checked out...

I think it may be both that they're using it as an opener and they're not getting attention.

It's a green light that says, "Come on dudes, escalate on us and prove your masculinity." I get this gay comment when I am not escalating fast or good enough. Those girls want your cock and they're frustrated that you're not making a move.
