  1. People come from different backgrounds. Especially direct or indirect. What is wrong for indirect( telegraphing too much interest) is right for direct. Opening by saying that you like her telegraphs way too much interest according to the indirect method.
  2. Others have ineffective methods themselves but think, that they were awesome. They say that their method requires you to do this and that when in fact you come across as insecure.
