Speaking to the girl from the moment you meet her in a manner that assumes you have an existing relationship with her is a way to bypass this. The girls NEVER flinch at this and they buy right into this frame; they enjoy it.

When they say "I barely know you" you can say, "that's the point, we'll meet up and get to know eachother a little."
