Scott Adams, the writer of the popular comic strip Dilbert, recently wrote a blog post saying goals are garbage and passion will get you nowhere. Ya know what? I tend to believe the guy.

Anyway, about six weeks ago, I downloaded a habit tracking app called Beeminder, which basically charts your habits in the form of a line graph. You set up the rate you want to do a particular habit and Beeminder paints it all out for you in visual form. For me, it works fantastically. I've gone to the gym and worked more in the past six weeks that I have at just about any moment of my life. I'm ecstatic as my finances are starting to turn around.

Now for the reason why I wrote this thread...Can anyone think of a game related habit that people could create that would get them on track in the right direction? I heard Tom Corley, on the Art of Charm podcast, state that habits must be quantifiable and 100% achievable if they're going to be any use to you. How do we apply these things to this aspect of our lives?
