I've dated my ex for about a year and she broke it off with me 5 weeks ago because of petty things (i.e. we're too different - music styles, tv shows etc.). I'm not sure where I went wrong quite frankly. She used to call me more times in a day than I could answer, so it seems as if she was the one needing me the entire time. I have a stellar career that I'll be pursuing in a different large city at the end of the semester and I'm a good looking and fairly confident guy.

Prior to the breakup: We engaged in very few arguments and always did new things together. I pushed her outside of her comfort zone by making her do things she wouldn't normally do. (One of the things she hated at the time but always thanked me for). We had planned to move together upon my graduation in a few months and had further plans to get engaged soon thereafter. She came to visit me (graduated recently) and broke it off a couple of days after I took her out for her birthday.

About the breakup: When she broke it off I remained calm. I accepted it for what it was and talked with her for ~2 hours. I could never really pinpoint what made her switch gears so quickly, but it threw me for a whirl. I helped her carry her bags out and told her to be safe.

1 month later: I've had no contact with her whatsoever to let her think about what's going on and perhaps see if she misses me. I called her today and asked her about her new job and filled her in on where I'm interviewing. At the end of the conversation I asked when she'll be here (college) next. She said this weekend and I told her we should do something, with which she replied that she's made a lot of plans.

Dilemma: I really love this girl and everything she brought to the table for our relationship. She was always helpful, kept up with my schedule (let me know when I needed to do things), absolutely beautiful with my perfect body type, classy when she needed to be and fun at opportune times. I'd really like to get back with her - I'm not sure I can find someone that I click with so well and have these admirable traits that I look for in a woman. Could someone share their advice / experiences with what I can do? I feel that this is time sensitive and it's eating me apart.
