I've been dating a girl recently, so we barely got to know each others, and she told me that I am a nice guy and she didn't expect that. Is this suppose to be a good thing ? or more of a lame thing ?

I'm going on assumption but sounds like you managed to build attraction through cocky/funny etc and now you're just showing some nice guy in there. It's good and show's you have some depth / not one-dimensional. Just be careful not to go full "nice guy" otherwise you'll end up in FZ but to me sounds like a good thing so far.

Good "nice guy" = cool, attractive guy who treats her with respect
Bad "nice guy" = weak

Unless she told you this in a situation where "nice" could also mean "pussy", you're fine. Like "Well no, I wouldn't expect you to speak your mind, you're a really nice guy".
