Does anybody else read the Mystery Method book and feel like it reaks of sneaky manipulation?

Almost feels as if the method was created to fill a void in Mystery's soul that's just too deep to be filled.

No doubt about it, the method works. If you follow the steps properly, a woman will be attracted to you.

But... It feels like as far as your own self-fulfilment, the method can only go so far. You'll feel like the girl doesn't like you for you, but rather she's liking you for the method.

Has anybody had any negative experiences with the Mystery Method?

Have you ever experienced getting the girl, yet feeling shit about it because you used the method to get her?

Just curious to your thoughts on this. It definitely seems relevant because when done correctly, the method can get results.

I used a lot of the mystery method stuff to start, it's great if you are a beginner because it will boost your confidence and give you something interesting to talk about. However, I have since become more of a natural with women, I don't use anything canned beyond, "hey, how's your day going?" or something along those lines.

Mystery method works, no question about it. It may not be the best way to pick up chicks, but it gets solid results.

Manipulative? What does that even mean? It is just a more effective and honest way of communicating than the nice guy routine that so many more guys are trapped in.

After I hooked up with the girls using MM, I didn't feel the way you described. I knew the girls liked me for me, because after I realized she was attracted to me, I was just myself.

If you are new to pick up, do MM until you have some success with it. It will reinforce a lot of the same ideas that work in natural game. After a while of doing that, I'd suggest working on a more natural presentation of yourself.
