So tonight I went on a date with a girl who is in class with me, we had a great conversation at a bar, there was a decent amount of physical contact, yet I wasn't able to seal a k-close at the end. I asked her to come back to my apartment with me, but it would have been way out of her way and she said she had to get up early, so that didn't happen. I am going to be seeing this girl a lot this year, since she is in a lot of the same classes as me.

I am wondering if anyone has missed a k-close on a first date and still ended up with the girl? I know it isn't good, and I regret not making it happen tonight, however I think it could be a valuable learning experience.

I offered her to come over and watch a movie, and she said she would let me know if she is free.

This has happened to me only 3 times. The first time when I was starting with game and was shocked that I could even get a date with a girl I talked with for 20 minutes. Nothing happened after that. The other 2 times were girls that pulled away repeatedly and I think were just looking to chat or something, i.e. time wasters.

Otherwise my standard pattern is to have a couple of light kisses mid-date during the first date and after good escalation the girls comply usually on the 1st attempt, sometimes only on the 2nd attempt.

In your place I wouldn't be too bothered about it, it's normal if you're starting out. If you see her again out of your house do make sure you throw in a couple of kisses after you rebuild the escalation. Simple way to do it is to get to mutual hand-caressing (60 yoc's "It's On Moment") and kiss shortly afterwards, but only briefly, both in the bar and outside.

If you see her in your house you gotta build up to the same level obviously but you got the window to take things further which she will be aware of and I'd say expecting
