Got a question for some of the techies out there.

If I bring up my fb friends list in on the mobile browser on my phone its in totally random order. A friend told me it puts your friends list in order of who you interact with the most and who looks at your page the most.

Does anyone know if that's true? My 1-10 is all girls that I don't talk to so if it is infact true I have some fb stalkers lol.

I do not believe that list has anything to do with who looks at YOUR profile the most.

Facebook has wonderful internal-use analytics around who you look at, whose posts you like, share, comment on, etc... and it may prioritize based on that fact...

But FB has always been anonymous in as far as being able to see who checked you out.

I read on wikihow (take what they say with a grain of salt) that if your list is in random order the ppl at the top are ones you interact with regularly, but if there are ppl at the top of that list that you don't talk to regularly its because they look at your page. That's what wikihow says, but like I said I take that with a grain of salt.

I don't really know how it works... I want to say there are chicks I don't talk to and don't find me attractive who are in my top ten but then again when I look back on it one or two of them whom i've not spoken to in a few weeks did show some interest in so far as asking me to pose in pictures for them in the past.

My top, when she's online, is some chick i've been nailing the last three weeks. If she's not online she doesn't appear at all. I don't check her profile out so I doubt it's down to what I do and we don't interact on FB at all anymore just through SPAM and text message/phone call. Then again there's a chick i've been friendly with for about a year but didn't interact with much who is usually in my top 10. When we hang out we have a laugh but we haven't spoken in weeks... I doubt she's holding a torch for me especially when she has a boyfriend at least not when we haven't spoken in over a month.

So maybe there is some truth to how much someone checks out your profile and it's position in your friends list? I do know the only ones that appear in your friends list are those you've spoken to recently(Like per month or week) whether they're online or not. Those you never speak to or like or comment on pictures or statuses just appear in your "More Friends" section.
