the thing is unfortunately the pua community can attract people with the wrong mindset or mentality. ill be honest i understand the isolation and the 'why are they attracted to jocks' mentality. the problem is some people get into this for the wrong reason, they think that the pua community is a magic pill in which you read a book or do a course and your automatically gonna have girls coming onto you like a rock star. they dont think about the going out 5 nights a week having to approach 100's of girls.
from reading about this guy he seemed to have a major narcissism complex where he seemed to think he was better then everyone else but couldnt understand why people didnt like him or were attracted to him. yet liked the jocks.
rather then look at himself and think what do i need to change or how do i motivate myself he seemed to look at everyone like its their fault.

im not saying im an expert or a psychologist but from reading about him its an opinion

Chief - I don't know if you really could have ended up as this guy; he is a psychopath. He is getting upset because he isn't getting what he thinks he deserves. From the comfort of his own car, filming in HD on his phone/camera (pathetic that he thinks he's got it bad). It's tragic that he couldn't have just killed his pathetic little self rather than go out and kill others. The fact that it was so premeditated that he had to make a video... egotistical little psychopath, he makes me sick.

Uneducated towards pua and think we're all just a bunch of scum that manipulate women into sleeping with us not knowing that pua is for the most part self development. This is just my opinion, but I think there are some steps we could take to not come under such fire. 1st if someone stumbles across this forum and the 1st thing they see is bang 6 girls a week learn one strange trick to make women want you or whtever it says that's just gonna fuel their fire. Another thing not that long ago I had a girl find the link to this forum on my phone and lose her shit. I posted a thread about it. I explained to her look if you want advice all you have to do is go anywhere that sells magazines and you have it guys don't have that option. This forum is no different then your magazines just a different format same principal, but she saw the banner ad read advanced pick up techniques and there was no changing her mind as much as I tried to explain its nothing more than ppl seeking advice giving advice and self help. Maybe we should market the community a little more in that direction. The term pua has a stigma to it ppl see that and they think liars cheats and scum and jump to conclusions without looking deeper. Just my opinion though hopefully we don't come under to much fire because I know this forum and pua has helped me improve myself not only with women, but my entire life.

You're right, but I meant for starters clean up the forum the banner ad and market pua more as a tool to help you become the most attractive person you can be and with that one of the rewards is being good with women. I know it won't happen, but call the community something other than the pua community just because like I said the term pua has a negative stigma to it. Ppl are gonna look into this see pua find out what it stands for and without looking any deeper jump to the conclusion we're all scum. I don't know if you're familiar with way of the player, but in my opinion its a style like that, that the community should be marketed in. Become your best self and attract women that way. I just think ppl are gonna jump to conclusions based on appearances without even scratching the surface of what the community is all about. Basically I'm saying we should clean it up and market what we offer in a less stigmatized way.

But at the end of the day the fire that we may come under doesn't mean shit. The simple fact is 6 lives were ended senselessly and its a horrible tragedy. I actually feel bad for even talking about pua right now because it isn't what's important here. I know there is work that can be done to de stigmatize the community, but right now none of that is important the only thing that matters is the fact 6 innocent ppl were killed.

I'd be careful on the "pua hate killing spree " term though if you mean it in conjunction with pointing any finger at another website. I don't think he should be associated to any particular one website. I remember the guy very well from here but I do not recall his screen name. Thinking back about it, I guess I contributed toward the negative thoughts he had pertaining to advice on here b/c we had our share of rounds of responses to threads and posts. At first I was trying to use my own experience to help him, then comfort him, then after weeks or months of seeing his frustration grow more and more, and what everyone called "trolling" ,I started praying he would NOT do just what he did. I kind of saw him as a guy with a high likelihood to take his own life early. But, I never thought of him as bold enough to actually kill others, although I did see him as possibly ill enough now that I think about it. It's another one of those things you can't predict a mass killing until after it happens.

I used to enjoy posting here. I'm almost 35 and had a lot of success and a lot more failure starting from high school. I liked passing a long idea's here of how I saw them when I wasn't too busy. But, watching and reading him made it tough to keep coming back because he's a gross example of what I think a decent % of men out there feel but maybe not to that extent. It's certainly in my mind a community that's helped a small % of men, but done far more damage to our society of life and the singles community as a whole. From when I first started just natural approaches in high school until now,(and yes I am very picky) , these systems and Pua communities that are sold and practiced and chatted about with each other online, have drastically over time altered the connection level between men and women. I know the community is not the only thing and there's more mainstream media and other internet stuff like facebook and date websites that contributes, but the pua community puts a heavy dent in it that does more harm than good to a guy like myself. But it's out there and it's a force to be reckoned with and I understand it's purpose which is it generates money.

I think Roger Elliot (I still can't recall his screen name), suffered one of 2 problems; He was in homosexual denial so much so he tried to force himself to the most attractive women and had no way to connect. Or, he just had no way of emotionally connecting with the type of women he desired and he tried too hard and was overcome with the obsession and all women he ever talked to could easily see it. Although, I think there's a great chance he never even tried to approach one women he thought was pretty and that was part of his issue. Or, maybe the first approach went bad and feelings spiraled out of control on him. Either of the 2 will trace back to a mental illness of he couldn't get on the same page with mainstream society where he wanted to be. Unfortunately, no one has the answers to what we are seeing or could see more of. Sure there's an element of guys out there who are 9's but will settle for 5's to ensure companionship or the lay and we should all be happy we have these kind of men in society. But there's too many guys who only want the 9, and for many it's simply not a realistic goal. Then frustration sets in. I think though the trick may be for the guy who's struggling is to find his 9. Maybe not the universal everyone agrees she's hot 9, But his own 9 who he thinks is 9. Maybe the 5 or 6 who if he gets to know her well enough, she becomes a 9.

i dont blame the PUA scene, it helped me alot with my self improvement. It let me know that I wasnt alone.

I put more blame towards social media, television and music peer pressure. Teen movies and television always put that whole "gotta get laid" image out there, same with today's music. We live during a more sexually open generation. Corperate America doesn't care what image they put out, as long as they are profiting off sales. I don't think real PUA brag about it or rub it onto others.

This kid was just a spoiled brat, probably had everything handed to him from wealthy parents who put him on a pedestal , never learned about differences and opinions of others, instead more likely "aww son, the kids at school dont like you? Its not you, they are just haters. lets go buy ice cream that will make you feel better".

PUA is all about self-improvement.
