Hey, I am new to this forum and very new to the concept of PUA.

I have read the game / Mystery Method and I am currently looking into more of the PUA training material.

I have just watched a video by Adam Lyons where he talks about attraction and how attraction is attained when you invest more time and effort into something - you want it more. He used the analogy of saving up for 20 years to buy your dream car only to end up winning the exact same car in a raffle the week after you bought the one you had spent time and effort trying to earn, ultimately explaining that you would value the car that you worked for rather than the one that you won.

He talks about making girls invest more of their time, effort and thoughts into you which will ultimately build attraction.

From what I understand he explains that you do this by making the target in question think that you are NOT trying to hit on them whilst at the same time build social proof, pre-selection and qualification so that they become more and more attracted to you as they invest more into you.

I have had experiences where I have tried to do this and not make the target think that I am hitting on them - just to later on see them end up in the arms of another guy in the club - on a few occasions - out curiosity I have asked them why they got with the other guy and the answer has always been "I didn't think you were interested in me"

So my question is......how do you keep the girl interested in you whilst at the same time not actively try hitting on her?? and how do I avoid another guy coming in showing interest in her and taking her away from me ultimately leaving me with the "I didn't think you were interested in me".....or "I thought you wanted that other girl" ??

Any help on this would be much appreciated!

The DHVing and etc. condoned by Mystery Method and the time investment condoned by Adam Lyons are just 2 of many tools of attraction a PUA has in his arsenal. Practice them but don't take them too seriously as the be-all-end-all factors that make or break a seduction. There are more powerful tools that may be better suited to your personal style. Incidentally, I wrote a book called Attraction Arsenal that details ALL of the most potent attraction tools that PUAs use, and it's included as a free bonus to my Seductive Introvert program.

Anyway, you're making a huge mistake if you think that you have to hide your interest like Mystery Method tries so hard to convince you to do. If you do, a guy with more confidence and a more direct approach will almost always trump you. The main thing to take away from any "indirect" method is to build tension by not verbalizing your intent while still behaving in a way that makes it pretty darn clear as to what's really going on.

And the best way to get girls to invest more time and energy into you is through compliance testing or, more specifically, a series of compliance tests starting from low investment gradually moving up to higher and higher investment (compliance ladder).
