Hey guys,

I don't know if this is the right section to post this, nor do I know if anyone here is a trained psychiatrist and can help me out here however; I hope that this is something that has happened to someone else in the community...

I came across the Pick-Up community last May and in the beginning I started incorporating David D's material into my dating life with some mild success. I was able to number-close at least one girl a party, and even met my most recent girlfriend using his stuff. Later, I started reading as much as I could from different Pick-Up gurus however; lately I haven't been able to have much success. Most recently, I was at a party and I didn't even feel like socializing with anyone. Lately, I haven't really felt like socializing with anyone at all. I do have a couple close friends who are also into gaming women and whenever I discuss Pick-Up with them I seem to be able to make apparent that I know what I'm doing. I seem to be able to teach them a few things too. In practice though, I seem to fail at socializing and fail at meeting women. It scares the s*&% out of me. I see a hot girl, I know what to say to her but I just can't approach her, and the fact that I don't really feel like socializing isn't helping me get better or more confident at it. Is there something wrong with me? Do I need professional help?

Hey mate I've been there before actually I'm kinda in the same boat right now. I just don't feel like going out, but I just go anyway. With the approach anxiety I had a similar experience. I was going to meet a buddy for a sarge when I got jumped by 2 guys they both had weapons. I got away, but was off my game after that I went into a drug store to get a bottle of water and there was a smokin hot girl working there my game was tight, but I still wasn't myself and choked when it came time to get her #. So a couple weeks later buddy was like we're gonna find her and get her # well total fluke I spotted her studying in a coffee shop I wasn't nervous about approaching her I was flat out scared for some reason then I saw a guy stand by her table the dude was afc as hell I was like fuck this got my game on and went and took care of business. Bit of a long drawn out story, but the moral is sometimes you just need some motivation mine was I'm not gonna let some afc motherfucker take the girl I want. Next time you see a girl you like think of something to motivate yourself like that you'll be amazed how much easier the approach is its all in the mindset. Hope that helps good luck mate!!
