so was seeing this girl for a while and we ended up breaking things off. still want her back but decided not to message her for a while till things die down.
any advice on what to do in the mean time to get my mind off her? also how long do i wait till i decide to message her or do i wait till she messages me?

You don't want to wait if you want her back. At least not wait too long. Leave it at a day or two max then see if she wants to head out. Make that much effort. If she says no just say "Cool. ;)" and leave it at that.

To take your mind off her just go out and game other women.
