There's this girl in my class that I have talked to a few times. I'm pretty sure she likes me; however, I think her attraction for me is decreasing. I don't sit next to her so the only time I could really do anything is either when she first enters the class, or in the locker section (our lockers are near each other). I have yet to get her number or anything, so... What should be my "plan of attack"?

Anyway, cheesy pick up lines aside how about you just pick up your balls and be forward with her? Just say "Hey, I noticed we're in the same class." then shoot the shit about your subject and ask if she knows the problem to X(Or whatever!). Get her name, formally introduce yourself to her and then get her number and suggest meeting up. It's that simple...

BUT... You're in highschool, right? Everyone in highschool are children and immature regardless of what you want to believe. There's a huge focus on social value here. If you're a nobody your chances of her flaking on you are higher than you would be someone of worth and there's a huge social stigma about rejection when you're younger(Getting teased about it for one). Just keep that in mind. When you're older rejection means absolutely nothing but when you're younger it's a bigger issue because people, and those around you, take it personally and run a mile with it. My advice here would be to be as aloof and care free towards it as possible. If she rejects you just smile and say "That's cool." and walk away.

Your excuse is the fact that you're in the same class together. Go with what I said: "Hey, I noticed we're in the same class. You look the brainbox type... Can I ask you something?" Her: "Sure." You: "When the lecturer said X what did he mean? It kind of confused me." Her: "Blah, blah." The rest you can do yourself. If she doesn't know just tease her about it then eject after getting her name:

You: "I'm disappointed, you looked like you had all the answers. I'm Patch. I'll see you around..." She should offer her name or you can just ask it. If you already know her name from class don't be afraid to call her by her name. There, you've opened lines of communication and can now approach her in the corridor and say "Hey" with a smile whenever the hell you see her.
