So I started "gaming" (I've always hated most of these phrases and terminology, btw) back when I was maybe 24, after reading The Game (of course). Like everyone else, I started off slowly, with plenty of failure, and eventually had moderate success. Nothing to write home about. But in the last two years I've had LASIK eye surgery (I could never wear contacts) and had my teeth straightened with Invisalign (which is still ongoing, but MUCH improved). Looking back on it, it was amazing that a bald 24yo with a broken down car who wore glasses and had crooked (albeit clean and white) teeth was able to get anywhere at all. I am certain that those physical misfortunes were holding my back a lot. The number of success just after LASIK was like night and day. Still bald though, but I come my hair over so no one can tell. :P Nah, it's shaved. Pain in the ass shaving your head once a week, btw.

Can you share more details about your experience?
