So I met this girl a couple of weeks ago at the gym. Been really cordial, texted a couple of times, seems to me like she's got real potential. A couple of nice IOIs here and there like talking about herself a lot, then asking what I think of her.

So I flirted with her on text a bit, then my plan was to freeze her out the next couple of times I saw her in the gym. Thing is, my last move on her was a freeze out, casually just smiling at her while concentrating on my workout.

Trouble is, after that I got pretty sick. So I had to take time off from work, from the gym too. One week of nursing my health, but that also means one week of no contact with the girl. Any way I can salvage the link and pick it up from there? I'm worried the link might have been left alone for too long and, as the science goes, I would have already lost my chance.

Only comfort I have is her number and knowing that it's her birthday next week. Can anyone suggest any moves that will put me back on this girl's mind and resume my game with her? Thanks!

Dude you're over thinking majorly you go to the gym to work out so what if you don't have an in depth convo with her everytime you're there. Don't freeze her out there's no need for it, what I'd suggest is at a time when you're fairly certain she'll be home call her have a casual conversation then ask her out. If she doesn't answer send a short txt.
There really isn't a problem here you just have to open the lines again.
