Would I be best just asking her out, just the two of us. We've done that before but when we were both seeing people. This weekend it seem simpler to ask her to join me and my friends, possibly with me meeting her by myself earlier.
Thoughts?

Lowers the trust barriers and allows you to DHV, plus if things go well, you can always separate her from the group and go elsewhere. With a girl you already know, you should ask her on a one-to-one date rather than with your group.
