So, my ex and I split up a few months ago. Pretty epic break up. We stopped talking as a result. Anyway, she gets with someone, I get with someone.

I end the relationship I was in and we start talking. At first it's just friendly, but over about a month or so, it escalates. How she's going to dump him. How she'd be devastated if we lost contact again. How much she likes me and missed me.

Anyway, I start ramping things up, she dumps him. That night, she seems OK. We make plans to see each other the next night. The last I hear, she's OK, but he didn't take it well. She still isn't in love with him, isn't comparable, etc. The next she texts me, apparently he's making things awful. She needs to go off the grid. Her Facebook is removed, she disappears.

A few days later, I text to check on her, don't hear a damn thing back. Until this point, we'd talked everyday.
