Lorenzo here with a brand new doubt about the text game

when I know someone or even with acquaintances I have a big rule: never text more than once!

so if I met a girl and she gives me her number I text/call only once, then if she doesn't reply ( I usually give her a day to reply) I delete the number.

Do I play too hard to get? Am I too proud?

I know that I shouldn't text a lot if I don't receive a reply, it would look needy (and aside from that I really believe that if a girl doesn't reply she's not worth my attention), but do you have any experience of the opposite? any chance of a lucky second text?

Mate, if a girl doesn't reply it means three things:
1. She is just not interested;
2. Your game was not tight enough;
3. She is testing you.

If you give up that easily, you failed the test. That means you have let go many girls already... I hope you realize this.

btw, looking needy after 1 textmessage??! Have you ever thought that the one and only textmessage you would send, might not consist of a question/response-possibility? Or simply not teasing enough??

well if she doesn't reply and you send another text may be kinda needy imho, but this is exactly the point I want to clarify! maybe it's just me and it's not that big a deal if a send a second text.

and if she's testing me I think it's probably for number 2(my game).

so how would a second text look like?

p.s. I always tease her in the first message, trying not to be obvious and recalling a good moment we shared the night(s) earlier so what if the problem is in the teasing part? maybe a "hi x, it's Lorenzo how you doin' " would be better

Maybe the problem with your game is that you're texting.

Pick up the phone and call her. It's so much quicker and more effective.

I don't think that that's the problem, besides I always call the first time, if they don't answer instead of leaving a voice mail I text her, but again this is not the case.

I'd like to read some texts of yours, if you ever had to send it twice because she didn't reply the first one.
