Hi all

I told this girl in a text.

Her: your adorable
Me: your my second favorite Katy I know now
Her. Only second ?

I was not sure what to say, I thought.
If you keep me smiling you might make number 1
Or you might make number one, I don't know haven't met you yet. (Met her online)

I went with

Me. Why, you want to be number one?
Her. Maybe?

Not sure if that was the best response but I went with it. So, any suggestion on how to reply to her "maybe"

What I would say is
well if you want to be my number 1 you're gonna have to earn it and that darling is no easy task!! I hope you're up for it ;)

I've used that before slight variation to fit my situation she ate it up girls like to be challenged.
