I wasn't too crazy about the girl I did want to see her though but she sent me a message saying " Got called into work " I replied after saying "you'll have to reschedule/come closer/ buy drinks/ and be a kisser for this mishap I don't set up second dates its a rule" she replied " haha ohh Kay well see" I'm 26 she's in her mid twenties

Was that a good reply though? She never offered an alternate date and I'm not going to set myself up again so I thought it was good.

She actually could got called in for work. But in my opinion the slightest negative thing about your reply. Is that it gives her a little to much freedom of choice. But it also really shows to her that your time are not for granted.

Hey man been there shit happens. My personal favorite response to a flake or even a reshedule (provided it fits the situation of the reschedule) is show your time is in demand and that you're a person of value. Here's my convo from a couple months ago when I had a similar situaion.

Her: hey I'm really tired from the gym I don't think I can stay awake to 8:30. (Weak ass excuse I think)

Me: no worries buddy of mine has a fight in vegas and my friends are twisting my arm pretty hard to come check it out.

Her: WHAT!!!!! VEGAS!!! Make sure you behave!!!

Me: always

From there she texted me a few more times mainly just shit testing me, but I clearly had the upper hand and didn't feel like responding when there's no longer an end product. She texted me the next morning and she set up the next date.

I have a no tolerance policy with flakes but if shes worth it to ya, give her a 2nd chance. Idk girls do flake i just find it disrespectful and its a major turnoff for me, pretty much kills everything.
