I'm not much for FB chatting, but it is my only means of communication right now.

I first noticed this girl when she did the whole "wants to meet me" thing on POF. I don't regularly go on there, so I saw it a little late (compared to when I got the e-mail for it) and when I went to go message her I noticed she had deleted her profile. That was about a month ago.

About a week ago she liked my roommate's girlfriend's post on FB, so I asked my roommate's girlfriend who she was because I was attracted to her. I guess she doesn't really know her, went to HS together and she is a couple years younger than us. So over the weekend we all go out to a bar and this girl is there. I notice her looking over at me a couple times, but I didn't go up to her. Yesterday I told my roommate's girlfriend to message her on FB and tell her to friend request me if she was interested. Low and behold I get a friend request today. Apparently she messaged my roommate's girlfriend back and admitted to staring at me and she asked everyone who I was because I looked familiar, and she FB stalked me and still isn't sure how she knows me. Now I'm pretty sure I've never met her before, but who knows.

So I accepted the friend request and have to deal with FB chat until I can progress onto texting, any tips for opening and leading towards getting her number?

you should've approached her. But if you know she's interested just ask for her phone #... don't fuck around on facebook.
