Okay so I have this ex that I never got to "f-close" because I dated her back in my beta nice guy days and now a year has gone by since the ljbf break-up and I completely froze her out but she still follows me on all these social networking sites so she's seen other girls flirting with me and pictures I take with other girls. Anyway, we hung out a couple months ago, she seemed to dig the new me and after we hung out I kinda backed off with some texts every now and then and focused on this other girl I was talking to. But here's the thing that brought me to my question, I have an IP tracker on my Tumblr for band related things and she anonymously sent me "I've had a crush on you for a long time now but I'm scared you won't feel the same" and I know it's her because the tracker showed her blogs name in the link she clicked to get to my blog. So I hit her up a week or two later and she flaked on me. So I waited another couple weeks and tried again but she flaked again. And now I ask, does she want me to show more interest and pursue her a little bit because she's unsure of how I feel about her or what

dude I'd say walk away and forget about her. 2 flakes in a row sounds to me like she's using you as an ego boost as in she wants you to chase her, but she has no intention of putting anything out. This is definitely not a situation you want to show interest towards the girl what you should do is know your own worth and walk away. Do you really want a girl that plays games like this anyway?

Good point. I was mainly just curious because of the anonymous message. Oh and I mainly just wanted to bang her, not actually be with her. Do you think it would be a good idea to pursue a little bit and make sure she's not just trying to avoid coming off as easy and if I still get nothing out of it, just leave and focus on the other girl I started talking to? She knows a couple of the girls I've pulled and they were known to be easy, so I was figuring she could just be making sure I'm not trying to play her. I have no problem walking away so I don't think it would hurt to try and see what's up before I do.

I'd probably freeze out for a while and try again.

Given what you said it is possible she's testing you and making herself appear not easy. In which case what I'd do is dangle a carrot. Give her a little bit here and there. She flaked twice your time is valuable so if she wants any of it she's gonna have to earn it. still focus on the other girl you're talking too though make sure you keep an abundance mentality. One of the smartest sayings I've heard is I chase them they run away I chase myself they chase me.
