why are women so disgusted by sexual compliments (or are they?)

today I walked up to a MILF and said "excuse me. I just wanted to let you know you have a perfect ass. It looks so amazing"

Then she says "that's disgusting. get away from me before I punch you in the face"

I have done this to another MILF before, and she said "gee, thanks, I had a hard day at work, that makes me feel better"

I dont have enough samples to conclude what reaction is more typical. If I did this over and over, which reaction would I get the most?

if the answer is "disgusted", why are women so disgusted by this? if someone told me "you have a nice ass" I would say "thanks" and maybe hug them for the nice compliment?

I often compliment women on their asses. But only after I've talked to them for a bit. Randomly saying "Nice ass!" to women is going to get you some bad replies.

It's also not a very effective opener, unless you're mighty good looking.

Something called "social scripts." It is expected of women to show disgust in sexual things because it's a man's world and the patriarchy made it so that a woman's sexuality is something to be commodified like a rare valuable.

Some women have freed themselves from this prude, conservative bullshit, just as PUAs have freed themselves from bullshit mindsets like "Women who have sex are sluts."

i think chief is right its about social perception if you make a sexual comment in front of her friends and she reacts badly its usually because she doesnt want to be perceived as a slut, she probably is having mental images of her parents saying to her 'youre a slut'. to save face and not be perceived as a slut she'll act surprised and disgusted by it.

the other thing is what you actually say, unfortunately when you say to a guy who is not tactful or unsure 'talk about sex' you have a recipe for disaster......
saying anything along the lines of: 'nice tits' 'i want to plough you' 'lets just fuck' yes its brave but its ultra creepy.
