Long story short, a good friend and I were having sex but have stopped for the last couple weeks due to conflicting schedules and timing never working out.

However I texted her about a week and a half ago and she said she couldn't. No biggy, but last night a bunch of us were drinking at her place. She was already sleeping while some of us were staying up to talk, but when we were all on her way out, I asked if she wanted me to stay and she said no. I know it wasn't the greatest timing and we all just left anyways.

Should I completely shut the door and never try again, or should I the door open for her to ask?

Just in terms of when I should approach again. I don't wanna look like a needy dog, so should I keep space, talk like regular and let her ask to have sex again?
