i have broke up with my ex 6 months ago and also i suffered a severe case of one-itis

After i went NC for about 5 months i thought i had forget her until yesterday that i met her again..
I spoke briefly to her and she was rude and was showing lots of IOD's.

But then she was talking to her new boyfriend with this sparkle in her eyes and it ripped my heart...

Of course i dont want her back i just need to forget her.
Anyway, i want to know how i must react the next time i see them.

I am hoping for some good advice!

Unfortunately i leave in a very small place and it is inevitable not to run into them.
So it is difficult to avoid any meeting..

If I was in your place, I'd just say "Hi" and continue walking. If she tries to stop me and opens up a conversation, I'd just tell her that I have to run because I'm too busy. It's not that hard at all. I see steering away as a weak method, but that's just my opinion. This is mainly because it shows how mad you are. The only exception for steering away for me is if our eyes didn't meet, but if they did I'd just smile/wink/say hi and just move on.

Brother I know 1st hand how hard that can be! This may be a dumb example, but have you ever seen the movie Yes man with Jim Carey? That is how you get over oneitis obviously you don't have To go to the extremes he went to in the movie or you can whatever you chose. I'm speaking from experience I had the worst case case of oneitis I was so tore up over it that I couldnt eat or I'd be sick I went out myself with a group of about 6 other girls any one of which I could have had that night, but I pussied out and went home early. Then I met a new girl and said fuck it when we go out I do it like that movie. I took her zip lining and salsa dancing for our 1st date. There was 2 benefits to that it was good for me to say fuck it get out there and do crazy fun shit and it totally blew her away. She said and I quote wow you're not like any other guy I've dated before!! That really got me over my oneitis.

I agree with the general attitude described in the last post. You want to give off the vibe that your life is so much better now that you aren't with this girl. "Faking it until you make it" comes into play here. Sure it doesn't matter what she or her b/f think of you, but it does matter what you think of you. Doing this can help you develop an overall more positive and productive mindstate, allowing you to meet more women and enjoy life more.

I just met them today but i confronted them with a happy attitude! I was laughing and smilling and i didnt care if they were there!
