A bit about me is that I'm actually very good looking (not to sound arrogant), I've been told so by numerous people and I once got offered to do a photo shoot. Ironically enough, I've never had a girlfriend or gotten laid and I'm 18. Anyways is it normal to be attractive and not have certain hot girls check you out or do they check you out in a subtle manner? Or do hot girls typically not do that? It got me wondering today because I have a new co-worker who's about an 8 where I work at which is Clarks Shoes, there are only like 6 people that work there right now, which is important to note because I have no competition in order to land her. Well anyhow today we basically just did the "Hi, pleasure to meet you!" and all that bs thing, but I never caught her staring at me, and she didn't really talk to me, and when I did try to strike up a convo, she answered very bluntly, she may be shy or something because of the way she answered. But anyhow I'm at a lost! Should I just keep talking to her and try to build a relationship!?! Even though she seemed uninterested? Is it normal for girls to be like that to guys they like?

Women are very intuitive. From the minute you made your introduction, she could probably tell everything about you which let her know she wasn't attracted to you.

I'll give you an example that might make sense to you...

You are the hiring manager of a major company. You have been interviewing people for 10 years and you are very good at weeding out the garbage and hiring quality employees. Today, you are interviewing potential employees and these are the two that cross your desk for the day...

First Interviewee: Dressed to the nines. $1500 suit. Freshest hair cut around. Shoes that are shined so well that you can see your reflection. A perfect knot in his tie and a shave that is closer than any shave you have ever seen. Ontop of that, he looks like a Ken Doll. He has the perfect smile, amazing eyes that someone could get lost in. You're excited to interview him.

This guy looks like it would be the perfect candidate for almost any job... right?

He sits down at your desk... Barely mutters out the word hello. Has a weak handshake that resembles what it would feel like if you were to grab a dead fish. His eyes are all over the place. And ontop of that, he's such a fucking dud that he can barely answer your basic interview questions without twitching. The guy oozes out his nervousness with every word he speaks. Ontop of that, he was 5 minutes late for the interview

Second Interviewee: Fairly well dressed. He's not wearing a suit but he's dressed for business. He presents himself decently but could use a bit of primping. It looks like its been about a week since he's shined his shoes but they aren't terrible. He's a bit overweight and his hair is neat but slightly unkept. He doesn't have the most amazing smile in the world but he's got a smile on his face that screams "I'm ready to take on whatever you throw at me!"

You say to yourself... "I'll give him a courtesy interview... He took the time to atleast come in on time."

He sits down at your desk... Greets you with a firm handshake, makes solid eye contact with you the entire duration of the interview, and completely nails every question with the answers that you wanted to hear during his interview. He leaves you completely speechless. His vocal tonality and body language ooze with confidence and makes you feel nothing other than he is the man for the job.

That being said.... Who are YOU going to choose?

I see your point; however I am not the first interviewee either, I'm actually the best salesman for my store and I've only been there for like a month. People tend to like me as do customers, so I'm not your typical scared little boy who does not know how to speak. I introduced myself fairly well, and after that I tried striking up a bit of dialogue when I was in the back, however she answered bluntly. I just want to know if girls even hint at liking a guy prior to meeting them, like us men make it pretty evident just by staring or checking a hot girl out. I realize looks won't get you everything, but it's still pretty logical to assume that it'd catch a glance or an effort on that girl's part to engage me. Is she shy? Is that how all girls are? Should I continue to make an effort at her, even though I don't have much experience with girls? My questions still aren't answered.

What actions may have turned her off? I introduced myself, I said "hey, my name is Kevin", she said "Hey I'm Meghan, nice to meet you", I said "Likewise", and that was the end of it because I had to bring out shoes to 3 customers and she was in training. Also my main question is, how would I know if she IS attracted to me? Do girls even show that? I'd feel a lot more comfortable knowing that she was, and I would be more aggressive in getting to know her better.

Also if I did turn her off by an action. How would I salvage it?

You're reading a lot into what is essentially nothing.

That is something girls can pick up on, and they do not find it attractive.

From what it sounds like to me is that trying to hard or caring to much. Put this way and just saying i'm 18 as well your trying to get a reaction out of her or looking for any sense of reaction. There are to problems with that, 1) your looking for it or expecting to her to look at you just because you assume your good looking, don't you're just killing yourself. 2) you don't even know what to look for so what are you expecting to find if she wasn't paying attention in the beginning why would you think she would change her mind later. You need to have good congruent energy and if she still isn't interested stop being a AFC or beta male and just go on with your job she isn't the center of your day. And girls can sense that shit. I'm fairly good looking too and from what I've heard from woman are the following

1) You must get girls left and right and I don't want to catch feeling & get heartbroken
2) Good looking guys are cocky and I don't wanna be another "booty call"
3) You are probably use to dating HB10's and you'll probably make me feel ugly

The looks have backfired on me when it comes to low self esteem woman which
is around 99% of them. They get intimated or start thinking what I just listed. Stop
concentrating on her reactions towards you. Be yourself at the job and display your
value. She'll slowly start showing you IOI's and when talking to her make funny flirty
comments to produce a giggle out of her and some attraction. From there start building
comfort & rapport. Then offer a low pressure offer. Like hey lets get starbucks at break
or whatever
