How do you get other men on your side?

In most settings, in general.

I feel like I'm excelling with women whilst always grating on men, many men are either hell-bent on going to battle (which is expected), and even more men tend to pick sides (beyond whoever may be physically strongest).

Apart from the obvious, which is being a great person, having good brotherly love and showing the right respect (and looking out for your fellow men), do you have any tips/advice for a budding ace?
