Good afternoon PUAS of the world and thank you for readin my topic. a nice weekend to all.

Ive been reading on the David Ds recomended books, feel the fear and do it anyway, i there is a lot of info about pressure, social pressure and so on.....

Everybody says pressure is good. We all face it in life, in all areas and obviosly getting in the field (in terms of pua) is a great way to improve it, but are there general ways to really train and improve how we deal with it ?

Sugesstions are very welcomed !

:)

During my first weeks in boxing I would feel nervous/scared
about sparring due to the punches being thrown at my face.
I asked one of the veteran boxers there how to overcome
that fear

Me: "How do you stop being scared of getting punched"
Boxer: "Once you get punched enough times, you won't even flinch"

Moral of the story is "The best way out..is the way through"

Keep practicing and it will get easier and the pressure won't
seem as great because you are now comfortable with that level
of pressure

Hugo's advice is excellent and concise ^

Apart from that, let me tell you this one thing - whatever you do, do not underestimate this - physical exercise, especially cardio, ESPECIALLY high-intensity cardio, helps extremely well as it physically forges your mind and body (more importantly, your mind) to become much, much stronger with regards to all sorts of pressure, especially social pressure.

High-intensity cardio, trust me. It's an incredible power.

This is a great example.

You've just got to step into the fire and deal with it. It never gets "easier." You just get better.
