so after years, on and off, of trying to be good at this, ive realized something thats absolutely essential to getting consistently with attractive girls, you gotta be able to tease, or give and take small jabs here and there.

this isnt even with girls, its with guys too. i find that to bond with guys u gotta kinda throw playful jabs at each other, etc.

big downside for me, because i never did that, and hated doing that.

now, after years if i try to do it now, i dont know how to go about it. either i sit there and take it, looking like a lameass or pussy, OR... i go too full throttle and sound angry or mad about it, which isnt good either. i guess its better than just sitting there, but theyre both bad. the best option would be to somehow turn it around and get em back in the same way... but i am not skilled in this manner

It's about calibration. What you are really learning to do is break rapport, which Adam talks extensively about. It's teasing, negs, nicknames, disqualifiers (probably not guys). Having a big smile on your face is the first thing to do. Second is to start by teasing them about things that they are good at that way they can't really get mad at you.
