Hi Guys,

I met a girl via a mutual friend on Sunday, she seemed pretty cool. We shared some jokes but got separated before I could number close. I facebook friended her on Monday after a photo of the two of us went online. I also messaged her with:

Monday 11:22PM
Me: "I walked past a drug store today. Thought of you.Drinks this week?"

Tuesday 7:48AM
Her: "Hahaha... Nice ;-) sure lets do drinks this weekend"
(Note: The drugs thing was in reference to an inside joke)

Tuesday 11:00AM
Me: "Its a positive association you know ;)".

She finally read this at Tuesday 9pm (FB chat said she wasn't online so fair enough), but hasn't replied since reading. Tbh, I was expecting her to have seen it in the morning, not after such a long gap... anyhow, I dont quite know where to take this now and how to keep the flow going.
I guess I don't want to appear needy by messaging again without any initial reaction from her. At the same time seems like a wasted opportunity not to.
Thoughts? Advice?

Thanks!

sounds like she's interested. Set up a night to take her out, get her phone #... chill, drink & enjoy.

well don't worry too much abot her not answering on tuesday... you didn't give her much to respond to.

I say hit her up tonight (since she's not always on fb) and say "Hey come out to happy hour with me at *location* Friday Night (or whenever YOU want to take her out.. be specific.) Send me your phone # so I can text you."

Then you go from there. If she ignores you don't take it personal. I have a rule if she doesn't respond 4 times total I move... sometimes women are like that for whatever reason and won't respond til the 2nd or 3rd time... who cares why just do what you need to do!

You didn't say anything that called for a response.. What was she suppose to say to that? Just answer a statement with a nothing statement? That wouldn't make sense.

Do you have her phone number?

If not.. Its fair to just ask her for it now.. You can then call her and set up the date.

Just write her again.. " Whats your number? "
