Soon there are a RAVE party at my school (i'm 17), and i am not sure if i should go or not!
Whats holding me back are:
1: none of the people i usually am with are going (they are gamers, i am not)
2: i do not know who i am going to be with that night.
3: I'll get bored because i'm all alone.

What do you guys think? Many girls are going, and guys, and all of them are going to drink before they go. I am not really a popular guy, but i've been told i look good (handsome, hot and so on). maybe a 7-8 i think. I want to get into the partygang and get a girlfriend and so on, should i use this evening to my advantage?

And how should i play the night if i go?

Shit man go!! Hot girls aren't just gonna fly in your window while your sitting at home!! It sounds to me like you're insecure about going out by yourself. I used to be the same way, but looking back some of the funnest nights I had were when I went out by myself. There's a couple good articles I think you might find helpful.

I want to go, thats not the problem. It's that i most likely are going to get bored and go home after 30 minutes because i don't have anyone to be with without it getting awkward

If that's the case than you need to work on your social skills and meeting new ppl. You're not going to improve them by staying at home. Before you go set a goal for yourself that I'm gonna approach and talk to for example 5 girls tonight, and who knows you might meet new friends there that you can go out and pick up girls with. Best thing I can tell you is your social skills are not gonna get any better by sitting at home by yourself!!

Is'nt that awkward afterwards at school? later in the schoolyear and so on?
I can make ppl laugh and so on, i can basic KINO, but i am afraid that it will get awkward since i see these ppl everyday, and that i am getting bored

I can get bored if i don't get to talk to people, and if i'm alone I can't talk to anyone. Except if i talk to randoms, but they are propably in groups, so that makes it even harder

I'm old as dirt compared to you (32) and I'm on here looking for advice with my situation too. Different then yours but I don't have it all figured out either. That being said, I do know a few things.

Sure you could pick up a girl at a rave, or just hook up if you end up getting drunk or high. However, I think the better route to pursue if you really want a girlfriend is to do things that you actually like and meet someone with common interests. However, you might like rave scene.. I was getting the impression that you were just going to fit in.. which is kind of a waste of time.

But if you like music and dancing then go and kill it, but it is kinda corny to just stand around at parties like that. As far as drinking, I'm not saying that I don't like to drink, but believe it or not if you stand by your beliefs and only drink if you want to, or not drink then ladies will notice that and see that you don't conform. Some tacky girls might think you're a square but you're better off without them. My advice is to find a nerdy girl.

Exactly! Go to the damn party and have fun. Hot wild ass girls aren't gonna magically appear in your living room while you're playing video games, and say hey let me play with your dick. You gotta go out and make it happen!! Fear is natural, but the only way you're gonna get past it is by doing!! Who's cares if you look awkward if I had a penny for every fucking time I looked awkward at a party I'd be retired by now and I'm only 24. GO TO THE PARTY HAVE FUN!!!

This rave-party is at my school, so we are not allowed to bring any alcohol, but as far as i know, almost everyone are going to have a vorsespiel before, so there are going to be many drunk/tipsy people.

You're spending all your time worrying about the negatives that might happen. What you need to do is say fck that I'm going to the party I'm gonna have fun meet girls make friends and afterwards ppl are gonna say man he's a cool guy. We should invite him out sometime. It may not happen like that, but that's what you need to picture in your mind. Think of this as the start to all the fun you're gonna have and all the parties you're gonna go to. If ppl are already tipsy why the hell are you worried about looking awkward?

Here's a story a while ago I was at a bar I've never been to before it was there karaoke night. I got up and sang bruce springsteen's dancing in the dark totally sober. A girl in the crowd yelled take it off I threw my shirt into the little crowd that was there. By the end ppl were cheering and clapping I garantee it wasn't for my singing abilities. Thing is I had fun everybody laughed I didn't give a shit about how I looked and the girl that yelled at me gave me her #. Only downside was the bouncer wasn't too happy about me taking off my shirt, but he was cool about it and let me stay. So moral of the story go have fun and don't worry.

Most of the people have already made up their mind and have meanings about me as a person, so to turn that around will be hard at one night, dont you think?

I have no problem with not giving a fuck and dont care, as long as i am never goig to meet or see the ppl again. But when i am going to see all of the allmost everyday for the next 1,5 year, something is holding me back...

When I was 17 years old I wouldn't have gone. Boy I was suck a fucking idiot. I didn't get layed also.
