So I'm new to the forums, but I have an instance to run by whomever has the time to read it =). An odd thing happened to me when texting this girl.
Very Brief Backdrop: I've seen her a few times and we've been texting back and forth, either I initiate or she does and it can go on well into the night unless I put an end to it. Convos are great, in person and over text I get IOIs from her, we're coworkers, and it seemed like we click.
So here's where it got weird. A few days ago her and I were texting and it was fun I was teasing her she was teasing me, normal stuff. I asked her a question (something about music) and all of a sudden radio silence.
A day goes by,
Another and I send this:
J =) I'm only sending you this because your phones funky, if you responded it didn't come through to me. Other options include you being a busy bee, you were kidnapped, or developed a sudden urge to travel and left the country in pursuit of treasure and fortune. The possibilities are endless I'm afraid I'll have to publish them as a series, I'll title it "text message adventure"
and she res:
Hello there, alas, I was I was on such an adventure..indeed I'm just quite the busy bee these days. With the added plus of a funky phone among other things. Just going through something SPAM.
I respond:

Silence for 4 days
Then yesterday she opens with a business related q. I answer it shortly. I don't make conversation. She then tries to strike up conversation asking my opinion on things, I didn't respond and haven't since. I'm a bit confused at this point. The above was weird and I don't want to come off as needy or a friend whom she has complete control over. It feels like I was the one left hanging. Thoughts on this? (Albeit Lengthy, much appreciated =P)
