I been keeping in contact with a girl I met, who now live a few hundred miles away. The last time we met was 4 months ago, but apparently soon, she is coming to town (not sure exactly when) for a few days as her parents live here.

I feel my overall text game has been good, I have kept it high energy and interesting. I have also kept low contact, in the 4 months since we last met we have had only 6 text conversations, my theory being the more you talk to someone via text without seeing them face to face, the less likely they will meet up with you, and the more desperate you look.

I have a feeling I am in a decent position, I think I have seen IOI's from her so far in our text conversations, for example her texting me to initiate conversation half the time, but obviously text is just text and nowhere near as good as in person interaction.

Right now though, I'm unsure whether to re initiate conversation to keep her interest up before she comes back to town. I was planning on keeping the conversation short but fun and playful like always. Though we haven't talked anything sexual, neither have I kissed closed her, so this is something I think I need to hint on more.

In our last conversation, 4 weeks ago, she mentioned we should play pool again when she is back, (though I think I sounded a little too excited when I agreed, so not sure if looked desperate), so I was considering whether to use a text opener which links to this, asking her if she has been practising ready to beat my ass at pool when she gets back (or does that sound needy as if I am thinking of her coming back, and she is guaranteed a date with me?). You know, just something that isn't boring like how was your weekend, although I do have a fun opener to ask how her halloween was.

I've found it hard to know how to approach this whole situation but I feel as if keeping the minimal contact is probably the best method to keep attraction. I have read some guys in this situation will text the girl every week but I think that would be a bad move. However I always get a nagging feeling she will have lost the attraction we generated when we met in person before she left. It will be interesting to see if we do hang out again what the reaction is like, that's for sure.
