There is no rule which says you have to acknowledge anyone entering the set that YOU opened.
The only exception is if you're running a big set and the situation feels like herding cats. Then you can pair the interloper off with either the alpha of the group or the one(s) who are mostly indifferent to your charms as they are the ones who can pull the target away from you.
If it's a one on one then you have to escalate quickly as very, very few guys will interject if you're at the kiss close stage.
