| Besides going out and trying conversation snippets on friends, chicks and social circle, how else could you practice them? Do you practice talking to yourself on the mirror or on solitude?
I'm having a tough time expressing whats on my mind most of the time.
Its like i have all these thoughts on my head, but when i try to express them via speech, things get lost, I'm going black, try to recall my thoughts, specific words to use,
At first i thought that was due to social pressure, but i find that even when i try it out aloud when i'm alone in my room, i have a hard time recalling whats in my head. How can this happen? My thoughts are complex though, and not everyday small talks about basic things.
I can be pretty articulate writing things down in notes, and on forums, or texts, ims, when i have all the time to do it, cause i can set my own pace, i can pause and recollect, find the right verb and noun, and ultimately tweak it to perfection but expressing them on the spot is something i have a hard time dealing with.
It reminds me alot like reading for school. You have the text in front of you. You understand and comprehend fully what you're reading, but when it comes times to deliver it by heart, you tend to forget certain pieces of information, you lose structure, and you're not connecting the dots properly.
How can i improve that? I believe i have unique material and takes on things, and i need to be able to output it fully, and emphasize it with the right kind of facial expressions to create memorable moments on conversations.
