So! I just flew out to California from Chicago to spend a week with a girl I was seeing back in Illinois. I typically don't have any trouble closing when I've developed a strong relationship with a girl, and right now, I have 4 more days.

Here's the breakdown..

We never had sex when she lived in Chicago 3 months ago, but we've done about everything else. She's about 10 years my senior, and things were going well over the phone. It's a 6 day trip, and the first 2 days have been a disaster. The first day was alright, but we were both so exhausted that we crashed. The second day, we essentially had some argument about what we wanted to do that got blown out of proportion, and lead to some misunderstanding about what I do for a living, which has her believing I'm a "liar" and she doesn't feel a sexual connection (even though we're still making out, in addition to other things(??)).

She's a bit of an airhead; it's very hard to tell her a story or explain anything to her without her taking one of my examples literally and going off on a tangent that is completely irrelevant to what we're actually discussing.

I need to turn this sexual; it's my mission!! I did not fly for 4 hours and burn 6 vacation days to get friend-zoned. It's nice to be in California, but I'm staying at her place, so I couldn't even just ditch out and go gaming in L.A (haha, which I'd rather do).
