Hey guys here's the situation I could use some advice on.met this girl didn't # close, but she added me on fb we've been talking it was going well so I asked her asked her out she can't this weekend she's got a pile of school work Which I know is legit. Here's my 1st mistake I replied with no worries sounds like you have a busy weekend. Let me know if you're free sometime next week and we'll go for a drink:). As soon as I sent that I realized I put the ball in her court, but I thought you know what this girl seems cool I'm not gonna use canned routines I'm just gonna talk normally to her. Anyway right away she replied with I'd really like that then my phone froze up so I couldn't msg her back. I should have just left it at that, but this morning I picked up on something she said last night and sent her a little neg/joke. Which I don't think hurt anything, but I should have left it I just did and didn't think 1st. Any advice on how to proceed from here would be appreciated thanks!

You answered your own question. The ball is in her court. She knows you want to hang out and if she is interested she will hit you up when she is free. Nothing to do but wait.

Ya you're right it was a bit of a fck up on my part, but what can ya do I'll know better for next time. What do you think about keeping the communication lines open? There's really nothing to warrant a freezeout I wasn't needy no bad behavior to punish. I personally think we can still talk I just can't be too available. I just like to ask for outside advice because I tend to overthink things. Thanks for the advice!
