Probably a repetitive question (couldn't find anything on it though).

I am curious to test if any of techniques these (so called) pick up artists preach would actually work. So I joined
this forum and started reading Neil Strauss's book ( The Game, the Penetrating Secrets of ...).

Most "Technology" they suggest seem so artificial that I hardly believe they can actually work!

Like in one example, Neil walks up to a girl in a shop who is doing something and says " I know this is wrong to say,
but I grew up in Bugs Bunny cartoon as a child, and you have the most adorable Bugs Bunny overbite" ! In real life someone
is doing her work. Normally she expects either you do not bother or ask a formal question. You give an intimate complement,
and she immediately realizes you are there to pick her up. That's an "unusual" and rather "creepy" comment and I do not see
how this opener is gonna work, other than creating an awkward situation. She cannot even responds if she wants, because
she is surprised and cannot think of an answer.

Even worst, Jeff uses (apparently) neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) techniques on women. Sounds like a joke ))

I just want to know your feedback if you had luck with any of these techniques.

My impression is that if anything happens at all, it's most likely due to their looks and flashy appearance that they put an effort to make. In other words, ladies just go for their appearance. It has very little to do with these so called techniques.
