Do you get out of the car and hug her then the both of you get in your car and take off?

Note that this is a girl who I danced/talked with for like 3 minutes in a club, got her number, and am taking her out on a movie date tomorrow. If it's a girl I already knew and whatnot then it's easy to hop right out of my car and give her a big hug.

It's just really awkward if I don't touch her right off the bat. Maybe I should go to her house, get out of my car and just lean on it outside then text her to come out? When I see her I can give her a hug?

Just get out of your car and hug her when she walks out. Simple as that.

As a side note, you should really rethink the movie date. Try to do something a bit more interactive, something that encourages you two talking, touching, etc.

Are you serious?! Text her to come out? Try something your parents used to do knock on the door And leave your phone in the car. Knock on the door smile hug her and kiss her on the cheek. Make her take your ARM and walk her to her door and open it for her. Next go around the car and get in yourself

A man of value isnt worried about approaching her door. I know its old school but just get out of your car and ring her doorbell. Im assuming you've already hugged her the club night... When you see her place you hand on her arm and lean in a kiss her on the cheek. This is an acceptable greeting in every country. It shows comfort and escalates beyond where you already have. Then continue to escalate all night. NO MOVIE... somewhere you can tease her all night with acting like you're going to kiss her. Don't wait for the perfect moment... create one. Then right when shes about to pop, kiss her. Dont wait to kiss her at her door when you drop her off. This is the goodnight kiss that holds her over.

I initially wanted to take her to the bars in Boulder but she lives in Thornton and that'd be a gas guzzler to drive to thornton, boulder for bars, drop her back off to thornton, and then back to where I live which is near Boulder. I was thinking about telling her to drive to Boulder but everyone told me that it was a bad idea...

Damn, that sucks... nothing to do in Thorton (north Denver) at all. I live across the 25. You really got to make the trip to Boulder or DT. How old are you? If in your 20s you can do Boondocks other that that Im at a loss for North Denver.


What I meant was to build up (escalate up) to a kiss while you are out. I found that waiting for the kiss at the door is too much pressure. The kiss at the door should be a closer that reminds her that youre the shit... and leave her wanting a second date.

Dude, I don't know what the distance is but go for the lay. If you can't get her to your place stay home and watch tv. You're picking her up which is good because it means you decide where you are going. If the distance to your place is too far, it's not going to get shorter on the next date. Find a spot in between your place and hers take her and back to your place.If sex is not a possibility on the first date, you're spending time and money for her company
