Hey guys this morning I grabbed some coffee at the local coffee shack and as always there are cute girls working there. One of the girls that was sitting in the background came up to the window and gave me a compliment on my car. We started talking which lead to flirting and I can tell she wanted me to ask for her number. I couldn't really tell what her body looked like so I hesitated in asking for her number. She punched my frequent flyer card and after we talked for a little bit she asked me again if I needed a card. At the end of the conversation I asked for her name gave her mine, but instead of saying hey can I get your number or I would love to see you again, I basically said, it was nice meeting you I will see you around.

I can tell immediately after I said that, she felt rejected. So I thought about it driving away and decided to call her a the shack. I then said hello again told her who I was and basically asked her for her number but told her I didn't want to ask to embarrass her in front of her coworker. She said, call me back tomorrow morning.

So I am not sure what to think at this point?

Did she feel rejected and didn't want to say yes because she wasn't in a good spot to say yes?

She didn't really know and she wanted to consult her other barista friend before she said yes?

Or she is just trying to prolong the process so I might forget and she doesn't have to deal with giving her number?


What do you guys think? Should I go grab another coffee tomorrow morning and see if she recognizes me and gives me her number or will I come off as desperate if I go back there tomorrow morning?
