How do you think i can make this DHV story better?

ok this is a true story

so there is this homeless friend of mine (names Mike) cool dude. knew him for awhile. well every time I see him around, i'll stop and see if he needs anything or just shoot the breeze with him. so this one night after a party I'm driving home and see mike, He is chilling be hide the King gas stations next to hooters. so I drive back there, get out and start shooting the breeze. we are having a good time and the cops pull up. Im thinking, what do they want? they get out and asks me and mike if we have seen a suspect they are looking for "crackhead that was trying to mug people" will me and mike told them that we didn't see anyone and they left. well im leaning on the fence next to the dumpster(if your facing the dumpster I would be on the right side) so out of no were this guy yells Hey! and comes out from the other side of the dumpster and go to pull out what i think is a gun. before that jackass can pull it, i rush him and grab his wrist and just start hitting with my free hand, he cant pull the gun out, so then mike jumps in and starts hitting the guy, will then guy falls on his back and drops the gun and i see its was a toy guy haha and let the guy run off. cops ended up getting him that night afther we called them. will long story short mikes ok and im ok.
