Hi all.

First, I realize I take more advice from my forum than I give, but I really appreciate everyone's efforts.

I just moved in with another guy and two girls. One of the girls I had talked a little bit with before moving in, we seemed to have developed some rapport. I usually teased her about a couple of things. When we all went out, she touched me, so when we played pool I reciprocated with plenty of kino. Then after a while, she commented that I looked pretty tired/bored and that she would go back with me to the house. Now, at this point that's code for sex, I would think... but I turned it down because I was planning to meet another girl still, and I didn't want shit to get bad since I live with her. Later I rethought it and suggested going back, but by that point the mood had already changed toward a more communal one, so she said she'd be cool with it but I could tell she wanted to stay. The girls tried to get me to dance, I wasn't feeling it, so I just chatted with the guy until the bar closed and we all went back.

Next morning, I made a joke about putting up posters of my face across the wall (it's complicated), and the other girl said "I think X would like that", before changing her mind because it didn't fit the decor. That night, though, I went to see the other girl. Didn't get laid there... I told the other girl roommate that I was just discussing things with a female colleague (true, anyway), and this one I told I was talking to a colleague, but didn't specify gender. She asked when I got back and later said she was busy watching sex on True Blood when I got back/while I was out, don't remember which. The day after that, though, the girls went out with people from their school program. I texted her with a cocky comment about the quality of those guys versus the two of us in the house, but she didn't answer. When they came back, I got the vibe that she was avoiding me. She talked a lot more with the other folks in the house. That brings us to today.

Did I f*ck things up somehow? Both girls came back together, I doubt she hooked up with another guy. Did the other girl tell her I was meeting another woman? How can I recover? I had also told the other roommate how little I'm going to make - the girls are studying something with much higher earning potential - and that I don't want kids, so I wonder if that has something to do with it, too.

Dude... she wanted to go back to the house you guys both live at... I'd hardly say that means shit.... in fact it does mean shit.

You're kind of a douche for making shit sexual with a roommate and now for the length of time you live there she won't be comfortable with you...

Touch means shit... Yeah it heightens the chance that she is attracted but that doesn't mean she is attracted... body language is more than one sign or another it's all of them... it's preens, submissive signals, feet, etc.

That is why I hate "IOIs" because they are so unfounded they are a hypothesis not a conclusion....

Now for a story:

So I had a buddy... he lived with a cute lil slutty green eye brunette who was playing the field... I told him not to live her for 1... she was a bit off and for 2... all women are harder to live with then men due to the weaker communication females tend to offer... for 3 women are disgusting dirty creatures and they do some nasty shit...

Well on to the rest of the story... well she didn't have a bed so they slept together... he woke up with morning wood and ended up fucking her.... and she HATED going home because she knew every time she went home he was going to try fucking her... and he did... Then he got upset because she was out fucking other guys... I fucked her too... as well as about 3 other co-workers.... Girl was sexually open young, single, and most definitely out to mingle....

He ended up really liking her... which makes no sense to me even now... and he ended up making her severely uncomfortable because he wanted to fuck her more often... in fact they fucked 4-5 times in the 1-2 months they lived with each other (that's right that's all it lasted)... now I'm not at all saying you would want to fuck her repeatedly or cause such feelings... but the fact is there will be a sexual awkwardness in your own home that isn't worth dealing with.

So... basically you were that douche bag that made a girl uncomfortable in her own house...

I'm not trying to be mean... (and douche bag is a label of your behaviors not you as a person so take this merely as criticism of your behavior not a personal attack)...

So again I say don't fuck your roommate... it's just going to fuck up your household life in the long run and honestly it's not worth the shit that comes with it... feelings get hurt... people get attached... it's just not worth it.

If you are worried about shit go talk to her... ask her what is going on... anything you can do to make her more comfortable or you can live with her the remainder of the time and keep her uncomfortable... there is no point in speculating... just be direct in a kind way and she'll open up if you speak to her correctly.

Actually, I think that's bullshit. Living with girls can be awesome, especially hot girls. It's fantastic social proof. Eastern European girls are the best, because they are sexually open-minded (i.e. they wont care that you're a man-whore) and they will definitely cook for you (it's a cultural thing). Just do not, under any circumstances, sleep with them.

Maybe you managed to do it fine, but most guys will eventually become infatuated with their hot roommate and be fucking miserable. I stand by my statement for the majority of people.

Depends dude... IME girls are nasty, dirty, and manipulative... hardly the roommates I want... especially when I can have guy roommates who communicate better and don't carry a bag of "stones" with them.

I especially would never live with hot girls.... they are super high maintenance and often times a pain in the ass to deal with due to a bit of an ego and often a side of narcissism... I have plenty of sexy female friends... why do I need to live with them?

My friend lived with a girl from Eastern Europe for a couple of months because she was subletting from her brother. She was ugly, annoying, and her brother cooked more (and better) than she did. He also lived with some really bitchy girl from New York and his girlfriend... who ended up cheating on him. And his girlfriend's sister was in there too.

I got to see the most interesting discussion I've ever seen. At 5 AM the two bitchy ones started demanding that there be a "chore wheel" put on the fridge. I was sitting on the couch, drunk, and I was just pissing them off for fun because they were being so bitchy and ridiculous.

I think it just depends on the individual person. Some women would make awesome roommates. Others had better put out a lot when they get older.
