would seem anyone posting a reply is doing so purely for validation.
like a leper messiah.
even posting this thread feels like me seeking validation if people were to agree with me.

Every one has a different reason. But generally speaking...

For most, it's about finding help for something they are embarrassed about to ask in person with their friends.

For Wolfwood and others, it's about giving back to the community that has been kind to them and helped them.

No, I have met quite a few people on here who have gone out of their way to help me and others and a lot of them are good people. Now you do get folks who are here just for validation and feel the need to talk down to newbies and others because their lives such right now. Can say the same about myself right now, good grades and all that going for me but dating and social life have gone haywire.

It is a good mix but I feel a small percentage of members say 30 percent are here to truly help people and share their experiences in order to see another man succeed. TheMajikalMethod is a good example of such a poster and SKills360 in a lot of cases is that guy too, mods are unquestionably in this category too.

Then you get the 70 percent. Of those 70 percent it would go like this.

40 Percent are here because they legitimately want some help. I am somewhat in that category but I think I have stayed on this place long enough and do plan on leaving soon for good, in a good conscience but I plan on leaving and just leaving the internet in general. Newbies fall into this category.

That leaves 30 percent, all validations seekers.

15 percent are pure keyboard jockeys, guys who make up stories about their lays, debate game theories to death, and get pissed off the very second someone questions anything they say. A good example of a forum with a lot of keyboard Jockeys would be the Roosh V Forum and Roosh has proven to be a keyboard jockey to many.

Remaining guys are validation seekers who do have success in real life.

I am the guy who is here for help but will share his success and failures on here, all of what I post is true. When I get rejected I come on here and whine about it and when I have success I let the whole world know (not a keyboard jockey).

So there you have it, 30 % of people on most PUA forums are validation seekers, on the Roosh V Forum that number would be double 60 % mostly consisting of keyboard jockeys.

I disagree also. We're just guys here trying to help each other out. I'm sure some people aren't here for a positive reason but its human nature to want to help others. I'm not sure i do help but I try. I feel I've learned a lot reading on here. If one of my posts helps someone else great. If not no harm done by posting it right.
